The first of two required public hearings for the Livingston County Budget will be held January 21st. County Clerk and Budget Officer, Sherry Parks will conduct the public hearing beginning at 11:30 am in the commission room of the courthouse. The public hearing includes a review of the budgeted amounts for each of the funds that make up the county budget, including the expense and revenue funds.
Once the public hearing is complete, the budget document will be available for review by the public, in the County Clerk’s office, located on the second floor of the courthouse.
A second public hearing will be held after 10 days. The date and time for that hearing has not been announced.
The public is encouraged to attend the public hearings and ask any questions they may have on the budget.
