A decision on an architect for the new Chillicothe R-II School District Office could be made Tuesday at the School Board meeting. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says the district had advertised for Requests for Qualifications or RFQ’s late last year and they hope to make the decision soon.
Wiebers says once that decision is made, they will work through design towards construction.
He says the target is to have the new District Office completed and ready to occupy in the 2020/21 school year.
Wiebers reminds the district patrons, the design and construction of the new district office is covered under the insurance as a result of the flood damage in 2019.
