An option to “Opt-Out” of the City of Chillicothe Health Insurance Plan is now available to City employees that have other coverage. The City Council approved a policy change that allows the option. City Administrator Darrin Chappell explains.
Chappell says it is unlikely more than one or two employees would go this route, and the employee that firest inquired about opting out of the insurance and since changed his mind.
