The Chillicothe Lady Hornets had a strong game from Essie Hicks and some late game heroics to pick up a 52-50 win over Cameron in the Cameron Tournament 3rd Place game.
Chillicothe was trailing 48-50 with 35 seconds left when Brooke Horton hit a shot from the low post and was fouled. She sank the free throw for a one point lead and a few seconds later Hicks was fouled and hit one out of two free throw.
With 1.6 seconds left, Horton blocked a Cameron low post shot out of bounds to secure the win.

Hicks had a season best 22 points on the night. Horton had 9 points and 12 rebounds, Jordan Hibner had 9 points, Jessica Reeter and Hunter Keithley had six each, and playing time for Haley Kidd, Selby Miller, Sophia Luetticke and Lucy Reeter.
