The United State Senate has voted to acquit President Trump on charges contained in two articles of impeachment.
Chillicothe’s voice in the Nations Capital, Congressman Sam Graves, stated in a press release, that “The impeachment circus is over. President Trump has been exonerated.” Graves went on to say “It’s time to get back to work for the American people by rebuilding our infrastructure, negotiating more great trade deals and securing our border” .
Graves voted against both articles of impeachment in the house.
The Senate voted along party lines with one exception of Mitt Romney of Utah voted to convict Trump on the first article.
