A Chillicothe Senior Football Player has officially signed a Letter of Intent to play college football.
Kam Ward, a two year starter for the Hornets Football Program has signed to play for Washburn University. Ward said he immediately fell in love with the college on his recruitment visit.
Ward says this is a dream come true.
He says the college plans on using him as a safety, and maybe as outside linebacker if he bulks up in the weight room.
Hornets Coach Tim Rulo said Ward’s Intangibles was one thing that allowed him to advance up to the next level.
Rulo said he was extremely proud of how Ward promoted himself through social media to become noticed by college recruiters.
