Garland Joseph Nelson, the man accused of killing two Wisconsin brothers last summer at a farm near Braymer was in court this week. Nelson was in the Caldwell County Courtroom for the Trial Setting before Judge Kanoy.
Nelson faces numerous charges, including two counts each of 1st-degree murder, abandonment of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, armed criminal action and one count each of tampering with a vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The defense made a motion to continue the proceedings. That motion was granted by the Judge and the parties will return to the Caldwell County Court on March 24th at 9:00 am for the Preliminary Hearing.
