The Chillicothe City Council will meet Monday to consider a zoning change and the employee health insurance opt-out policy change. The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at City Hall. The meeting begins with the approval of the financials.
City Administrator will present the request to change the zoning for the old Central School property from Public Use to Residential R-3 and allow for apartments.
There will be reports to the Council and requests for funding from the Summer Playground Association, Grand River YMCA, Rotary to help support the Freedom Festival, and the Humane Society.
Chappell will also present the ordinance to adopt the policy to allow opting out of health insurance.
An executive session is planned to handle personnel and real estate matters.
