Missouri’s Move Over Law is meant to help ensure the safety of officers and others that find themselves working, literally on the side of the road. KCHI this week featured the Move Over Law in our COP TALK segment and spoke with Sargent Jake Angle about what we as drivers need to do. Wednesday night, a state trooper was very lucky, but his patrol vehicle was not, as he was sideswiped while on the side of Interstate 35 in Harrison County.
Angle says this situation is also a good example of why you should stay IN your vehicle if you find yourself on the side of the road.
