The Norborne girls and Southwest boys won their respective divisions in this year’s C.L.A.A. basketball tournament.
Norborne girls beat Hardin-Central 58-32. Norborne was led by Kennadie Crowe with 18 points, Kayla and Olivia Dooley both with 13. Hardin-Central was led by Carly Thacker with 16 points
Southwest Livingston County boys beat Northwestern 65-46. Southwest was led by Chase Neptune with 27 points and Mack Anderson with 18 points. Northwestern was led by Clayton Gregory with 20 points including 6 treys.
Tina Avalon girls beat Brunswick for third place 54-37. Tina Avalon was led by Samantha Rounkles with 29 points and Kadie Rounkles with 14 points.
Brunswick was paced by Addi Riley with 14 points and Abby Dobbins with 10
Hale/Bosworth boys beat Keytesville 67-63 for third place. Hale/Bosworth was led by Beau Norris with 20 and Jaeden Sears with 18 points. Keytesville was led by Austin McKinstry with 31 points including 7 treys and Allen McKinstry with 15 points.
Northwestern girls beat Southwest Livingston for consolation 49-38. Northwest was led by Georgeanne Zahner with 22 points. Southwest Livingston was led by Lily Webb with 17 and Matney Waters with 12 points.
Brunswick boys beat Tina-Avalon 69-34 in the Consolation game. Brunswick was led by Amari Glasgow with 21 points, Kobe Tatum with 15 and J. T. Collier with 14 points. Tina-Avalon was led by Connor Jenkins with 12 points.
