Four Chillicothe Wrestlers will be headed to the MSHSAA State Wrestling tournament, thanks to their top four finish in their respective weight classes in the District Tournament.
Dawson Wheeler finished 2nd at 160 pounds with a bye, a win by pin, a 6-1 win and a loss by pin to an Odessa Wrestler
Isaac Washburn finished 2nd at 220 pounds with two wins by pin, a win 11-3 and a loss to an Odessa wrestler by pin
Sheldon Rader finished 3rd at 106 pounds with two byes, a loss to an Odessa wrestler, then wins by pin and a 12-8 medal round win over a Savannah wrestler.
Christian Peniston finished 4th at 285 pounds. He had a bye, won by pin, lost 3-0, won by pin and lost to an Oak Grove wrestler by pin.
Wrestlers that missed state qualification by one win were Aidan Zimmerman at 120, Jaxon Albertson at 126 and Nickolas Heldenbrand at 152.
