A Tornado Drill will be conducted by the National Weather Service on Tuesday. As part of the National Weather Service – Severe Weather Awareness Week, they will issue an alert, complete with the sirens sounding in the local communities, including Chillicothe, On KCHI the tones will sound and there will be a message explaining it is a Tornado Drill.
Meteorologist Sara Atkins says they hope the public will participate.
If you are not sure where that place is at your work or school, ask someone in charge. Talk to your co-workers about the actions you will take. Use this as a time to prepare, in-case a real tornado warning is issued.
Again, a Tornado Drill will take place Tuesday at 10:00 am
