Chillicothe Police responded to more than 200 calls for service Friday through Sunday. Some of these calls include:
Friday, August 3rd
Around 8:00 am, Officers took a report of a possible sex crime. The investigation is ongoing.
At about 9:25 am, Officers spoke with a citizen in reference to a possible sex crime. No report was filed at that time.
At 10:48 am, Officers took a report of burglary and stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St. The investigation is ongoing.
About 2:15 pm, Officers responded to a possible burglary in progress in the 100 block of S. Herriford St. They arrested William Lee Schneiter and Brent Gregory Green for alleged possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Green was released pending a court appearance. Schneiter was held at the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.
At 6:40 pm, Officers took a report of a possible stealing in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.
Saturday, August 4th.
At about 10:40 am, Officers took a report of a leaving the scene of an accident in the 1200 block of N. Washington St. The investigation is on-going.
At approximately 6:19 pm, Officers took a report of harassment in the 600 block of Walnut St. The investigation is on-going.
Officers conducted a smoking compliance checks at a couple of local businesses.
Sunday, August 5th.
At 2:15 pm, Officers were called for a possible disturbance at a local park. The incident was resolved by Officers.
Officers assisted several motorists.
