The 2020/21 Chillicothe City Budget that includes $18,159,179 in expenditures was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday. City Administrator Darin Chappell talked about the budget.
Chappell says that left a shortfall on the revenue side of $715,974.
That gave the city a balanced budget for the 2020/21 fiscal year.
Chappel says the budget does include a 3% cost of living increase for the city employees.
