Chillicothe Police are investigating theft and attempted theft from unlocked vehicles. Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples says they have a person or group that is going around our community attempting to victimize our citizens by getting into unlocked vehicles. While the department has officers patrolling around the clock, he asks the public to do their part and lock the doors on their vehicles. He also recommends you hide or take valued items in with you. He also asks that you contact the police department when you see something suspicious.
