Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Traffic stops and well-being checks were made by the Chillicothe Police Department at several locations Tuesday

7:19 am, A traffic stop in the 1200 block of N. Washington was made for a traffic violation.  The 26-year-old driver was driving while revoked and no proof of insurance.  The driver was cited and transported to their home.

8:17 am, Report of horses running loose in the 2100 block of Woodcrest Drive.  Horses were located and the owner arrived to take care of them.  They had knocked down a gate and got out of their confinement.

10:25 am, Report of a disorderly subject yelling profanities in the 300 block of E. Third Street.  The person was contacted and advised to stop and go inside their home.  That person was later taken to the home of a family member to take care of them.

11:54 am, Officers assisting Family Services with a well-being check in the 300 block of Webster Street.  Investigation continuing.

12:43 pm, Officers responded to a disturbance at a home in the 1500 block of Bryan Street.  Officers contacted a family member of a subject that was in need of medical assistance and evaluation.  Emergency Services transported the individual to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

5:24 pm, Officer speaking with a subject on the phone who is possibly the victim of a fraudulent loan scam.   Investigation continuing.

8:35 pm, Call from business in the 1300 block of Monroe about a suspected controlled substance located in a resident’s room.  A very small amount of a controlled substance was located and destroyed by Officer.
