The Chillicothe City Council approved a bid for the Permanent Street project but rejected the bid for the Police Department foundation work
The bid for the South Mitchell street project was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the project includes a portion of Corporate Drive in the Industrial Park.
The contract was awarded to M&M Utilities of Chillicothe for a total of $1.127 million dollars. Chappell says the work is expected to start in late June or early July.
The bids for the foundation repairs at the Chillicothe Police Department were rejected by the Chillicothe City Council Monday. City Administrator Darin Chappell explained.
A timeline on the project has not been set.
