The annual contracts for the City of Chillicothe include funding requests from several organizations that provide services to the city for its citizens. These range from transportation to arts and meals to sporting events. The requests are presented to the council prior to the budget and the council considers the requests for funding at various levels.
In Monday’s Chillicothe City Council Meeting the council looked at the annual contracts and had to consider the effects the COVID-19 crisis has had on the local economy. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the council approved three contracts for essential services.
The council is expected to consider the remaining contracts at the April 27th meeting
