The Chillicothe R-II School Board heard the finance report from Superintendent Dan Wiebers Tuesday. Mr Wiebers says the COVID-19 Crisis will have an effect on the district finances in the coming school year, but he is not as worried about the current school year.
He also talked about the coming school year.
He says it also affects the budget that needs to be prepared and approved over the next couple of months. That budget MUST be approved by the end of June and Wiebers says he needs to take into account the levy that is on the June Ballot and the funding that is received from the state and federal government and what that will look like.
