Chillicothe Major Street Projects And Other Planned Work

The City of Chillicothe has a major street project this year and the work is expected to begin by early June.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says the work on South Mitchell and Corporate Drive will be extensive.

On Monday, the City Council approved Allegier Martin to provide the engineering services for the local street projects.

They will also handle the engineering inspections for the reworking of 1st and 2nd streets.

In addition, Allegier Martin will handle the engineering inspections for the repairs to the foundation at the Police Department.  Chappell Explains that project.

The contract for the foundation work will be considered at the next council meeting.
