The Cameron School District has officially dropped boys soccer this season, The race for the Midland Empire Conference Boys Soccer Title will be a seven team race.
Chillicothe Boys Soccer Coach Tim Cunningham said it was due to a low number of players.
Cunningham said he is not too concerned about finding a replacement opponent for the open date. Chillicothe was scheduled to play Cameron on August 28th, the second game of the season and one of three games in four days.
Cameron struggled last season in Soccer. They didn’t win any games but did manage one tie.
