A single-vehicle accident north of Cameron Thursday afternoon left the 16-year-old driver and passenger with minor injuries. At about 2:05 pm, the teens were northbound on SE Heimbaugh road and lost control due to excessive speed. The driver overcorrected, ran off the road, struck a culvert and the vehicle went airborne, coming to rest on its wheels. The boys were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. They were wearing safety belts.
