The Missouri Highway Patrol will be out in force for the Memorial Day weekend. The special enforcement, Operation C.A.R.E, runs today through Monday evening. C.A.R.E stands for Crash Awareness & Reduction Effort. During Operation C.A.R.E Troopers will be watching for all traffic violations and will be especially vigilant regarding distracted driving, impaired driving, aggressive driving, excessive speed, and seat belt violations.
