The Chillicothe R-II School District’s Kindergarten Screening was postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Chillicothe Elementary School Principal Dr Jill Watkins says the screenings are scheduled for August 10th to the 13th.
Parents can reserve a 30-minute time slot for the screening by going to https://www.smore.com/thxzw and selecting “2020 CES Kindergarten Screening”
If your child is not yet enrolled in the Chillicothe R-II School District, there is also a link for enrollment.
When you bring your child for the Kindergarten Screening, you will need to bring a few items along. Proof of Age (birth certificate). Proof of Residency, and the child’s Immunization Records.
During the screening, the administrator, counselor, language specialist, and teachers will do an assessment of your child’s motor, concept, and language skills. In addition, we will test your child’s hearing and vision as well as collecting basic information like height and weight.
