The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 88 calls for service Tuesday. Some of the calls include removing a bat from a home and several well being checks. Other calls include:
2:03 am, Officer discovered where someone had damaged the light control box for the basketball court at Danner Park. Park authorities will be notified.
9:41 am, Officer out in the 100 block of Ryan Lane on report of illegal dumping. Suspects were contacted and picked up the dumped items.
10:07 am, Report of an unruly person at Hedrick Medical Center. Officers were able to calm the individual. No report.
11:23 am, Offices out in the 900 block of N. Washington Street. Attempted break-in of a storage shed. No entry gained.
12:31 pm, Officer out in the 800 block of Cherry Street attempting to catch a dog that was running loose. The dog was transported to the animal shelter.
12:50 pm, Officer apprehended another loose dog from in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. This dog was reunited with its owner.
6:06 pm, Officers checked on a minor traffic accident in a business lot in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street. Parties exchanged insurance information.
7:57 pm, Officers were contacted by someone in the 800 block of Clay Street about their vehicle having been sideswiped. A report was taken. Investigation continuing.
