Resurfacing work on Interstate 35 in Harrison and Daviess counties began around the clock operation through September. The work includes patching work taking place now, followed by the resurfacing of the roadway.
The work is taking place on I-35 from US Route 136 in Bethany to Route C near Pattonsburg, including work on the on and off ramps.
Crews plan to work 24-hours a day on partial and full-depth patching. Following the patching, crews will begin milling up the old road surface and placing a new asphalt overlay. One lane in each direction is expected to remain open throughout the project. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration
