A single-vehicle accident in Linn County left two injured. State Troopers report 22-year-old Charles Moore of New Boston had minor injuries and his passenger, 35-year-old Tina Slaughter of Brookfield, had moderate injuries in the accident at about 5:15 pm Sunday, on Jewel Drive, northeast of Brookfield. According to the report, Moore was northbound and ran off the road and his vehicle overturned. He was wearing a safety belt, she was not.
