Investigations of Child Abuse and a Child Sex Offense were completed by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.
The report indicates the child sex offense allegedly involved two young juveniles. The matter was submitted to the hot-line, forensic interviews have taken place, witnesses have been interviewed and the matter was turned over to the juvenile office.
A Child Abuse investigation that began in May was completed. Investigators were unable to determine if any crime took place in Livingston County. The information has been shared with another county as there is potential for a criminal violation taking place in that jurisdiction.
