Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 94 calls for service Tuesday.  Those calls include:

4:11 am, Officer removed a walker from the roadway in the 600 block of Calhoun Street.  It can be claimed at the PD.

11:25 am, Officer responded to the 100 block of Calhoun Street where an Opossum had been captured by a resident.  Incident handled by Officer.

12:00 pm, Officers checked the well-being of a person that was walking in the road east of town.  They were located and provided with a courtesy ride to town and taken to the Community Resource Center.

12:53 pm, Officers responded to a two-vehicle minor injury traffic crash at Calhoun St. and Jefferson St.  Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.

1:01 pm, Officers arrested a 41-year-old Carrollton resident for stealing in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  They were processed and released.

3:41 pm, Officers in the 200 block of N. Washington took a juvenile into custody.  They were transported to a juvenile detention facility by the Juvenile Officer.

5:06 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services with an intoxicated person in the 700 block of Graves Street.  No report.

5:17 pm, Officer assisted another agency with a person on a bicycle on east US 36 who was reported to be riding into traffic.

5:44 pm, Officers investigated an assault that took place at Chilli Bay Water Park.  Investigation continuing.

7:15 pm, Complaint of dogs running-at-large in the 1100 block of Jackson Street.  The owner was contacted and secured the dogs.

8:47 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of Cowgill Street for someone with anxiety issues.  The person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

10:54 pm, Report from a resident in the 900 block of Dickinson Street that a juvenile had snuck out of the home.  doesn’t want to report as a runaway, just let us know.  Officers searched the area and were unable to locate.

10:56 pm, Officer out in the 400 block of Reynard Street to speak with a person stating that they had received threats.
