Several incidents and investigations are in the Chillicothe Police Department report for Sunday and Monday.
Sunday,
3:15 PM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of 3rd Street for a report of child abuse. Officers along with Children’s Division investigated and found there to be no abuse.
4:27 PM, Officers and Chillicothe Fire Department responded to the 200 block of Clay Street for a reported house fire. The homeowner had already extinguished the fire and only minor damage occurred.
7:47 PM, Officers responded to the 700 block of Cowgill for a follow up investigation of a report of stealing.
Monday
10:50 am, An individual came to the Police Department to report that they had received threats from an employee of a business in the 200 block of N. Washington Street. Investigation continuing.
12:28 pm, Complaint of animal mistreatment near Webster and Woodward Streets. Officer made contact and the subject was attempting to train the animal.
1:17 pm, Report of traffic cones and a traffic control sign being stolen from the area of Polk and Dickinson Streets. Investigation continuing.
4:12 pm, Officers responded to 1300 block of Monroe Street on a report of a person suffering from mental issues. The individual was transferred to a facility for medical assistance.
9:58 pm, Officer checking on a vehicle at South Junction. The person was uncovering “Bridge Closing” signs for construction/repair.
11:43 pm, Report of 4-wheeler being operated recklessly in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. The vehicle left the area before the arrival of Officer. Officers were unable to locate.
