Accidents with Minor and Moderate injuries and one arrest are in the Missouri Highway Patrol Report.
A single-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Livingston County left the driver with moderate injuries, but the passengers were unharmed. State Troopers report, at about 5:10 pm, 25-year-old Maddison Schenk of Bosworth was southbound on Route D near Avalon and the brakes failed in a curve. The car went off the road, she overcorrected and crossed the road and hit the ditch. Scheck had moderate injuries and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment. Her three children, ages 1, 3, and 7, were not injured. They were all wearing safety belts.
A single-vehicle accident in Grundy County left two injured. The accident happened at about 8:35 pm on Route O near Tindall. According to the report, 45-year-old Ralph Turley of Independence was westbound on an ATV and ran off the road and it overturned. Both the driver and a passenger, 33-year-old Sarah Whitt of Trenton, were thrown from the ATV. Turley had moderate injuries and was flown to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Whitt had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
An Oregon resident was arrested in Carroll County Wednesday. Thirty-year-old Travis Bronson of Pendleton, OR was arrested at about 12:25 pm for alleged tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools, driving while suspended, and no insurance. He was taken to the Sheridan County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
