Rail Bridge & Crossing Upgrades

Repairs and upgrades to the City owned railroad were approved by the Chillicothe City Council.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says the city will spend $139,000 on the project.

Chappell says they will also take advantage of current construction and upgrade the crossing near the Street Department.

The bid was awarded to Capital Railroad Contracting and the work is expected to begin very soon.
