Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 96 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

8:20 am, School Resource Officer out in the 1200 block of Easton Street on a juvenile attendance issue.

9:18 am, Report that traffic signals at Ryan Lane and Washington and Business 36 and Washington Street are not working.   Officers checked the locations and all lights are working.

11:19 am, Officer speaking with a person reporting theft of a gift card from the 1200 block of N. Washington Street.  Investigation continuing.

11:52 am, Officers checking on possible theft in the 400 block of Jackson Street.  No report taken.

12:39 pm, Officer monitoring traffic at US 36 & 65 for C & I driver, eastbound on 36 from Caldwell County.  The vehicle was not observed by Officer.

1:10 pm, Officer assisted Animal Control in checking the welfare of a dog in the 300 block of Hillcrest.  No report was made at this time.

3:06 pm, Complaint of a vehicle parked in the roadway at Dickinson and Cooper, making it difficult for school buses.   Officer contacting and the truck is moving.

10:08 pm, Officer received a report of property damage to a shed in the 600 block of Commercial Street.  Suspect information was given and the investigation is continuing.
