The Chillicothe EAA chapter 944 Fly-In is August 25th at the Chillicothe Municipal Airport. Spokesperson Kathy Hamilton says the day will start, rain or shine, with a breakfast at 7:00 am.
Hamilton says they will have an opening ceremony at 8:00 to honor Veterans, Law Enforcement Agencies, Chillicothe Ambulance & Fire Department, Mayor Reed Dupy, the Pilots that will be flying Young Eagles, Advance Air Academy. They will also announce scholarships for flying recipients and others.
The Young Eagle flights will start at 9:00 am. Hamilton says this is the 26th year for the Young Eagle program.
Free will offerings are accepted to help offset the cost of the fuel during the flights.
