The 6th annual Pink Out, a Cancer Awareness Fundraiser for the Chillicothe Fire Department and the Hedrick Medical Center, is October 5th. Aimee Aukshun from Hedrick Medical Center says the event supports local cancer patients. Shannon Jones from the Chillicothe Fire Department says the funds are used in several ways.
Aukshun says money is raised in a couple of ways.
They also have Pink Out T-shirts for sale starting at $15, with sizes ranging from small to 5X.
Aukshun and Jones explain how Pink Out Day will be celebrated.
