A rural Chillicothe couple that has been involved in 4H for many years will be recognized for their dedication to the youth in our area Saturday afternoon in Sedalia. David and Suzi Beck will be inducted into the Missouri 4H Hall of Fame at 3:00 pm at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the State Fair Community College.
David and Suzi Beck have been tireless supporters of 4-H and official 4-H volunteers for a combined 49 years. They have served as 4-H club leaders, project leaders, fair board members, fair board president, 4-H Foundation board member, county shooting sports leader, jr. leader sponsor, State 4-H Exchange sponsor, and many other roles too numerous to mention. David and Suzi have also hosted Livingston County 4-H youth at their farm for many years, providing an ideal setting and foundation for 4-H youth to hone their shooting sports skills and to develop character skills.
The Beck’s tireless dedication has helped not only their own children and now grandchildren excel in 4-H, but has also enabled countless Livingston County youth to benefit from their dedication and support.
