The new Lillian DesMarias Youth Library will open on Monday, September 14th at 9:00 am. A community celebration and a grand opening will be announced at a later time. The hours will match the main branch hours.
Livingston County Librarian Candy Warren says it’s nice to have a finished project.
Warren talks about some of the features of the new children’s library.
The library is named after a former Livingston County Librarian.
She passed away in 2012 at the age of 99.
Warren also thanked the Livingston County Library Charitable Trust Fund for their assistance with the project.
