Missouri Governor Mike Parson was in Chillicothe Thursday afternoon for a brief stop at the Chillicothe Correctional Center.
When the topic of COVID in the Correctional Centers of Missouri was brought up to him, Governor Parson said it is a tough job to prevent the spread of COVID through the facility.
The Governor stated Missouri has had a game plan since day one that the Department of Corrections instituted and he feels it’s worked “really well.”
The Chillicothe facility was just one of several stops he made Thursday in Warrensburg, Cameron, and Chillicothe to Veterans homes and correctional centers.
