The Chillicothe R-II School Board will consider refinancing debt, amending their budget, and discuss the district’s levy as part of their meeting Tuesday. The school board meets Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Grand River Technical School.
Under new business, the board will hear from a representative of Stifel about refinancing debt. The presentation will be made via ZOOM.
The board will consider amending the district budget to include updated salary amounts, the finalized expenditure for the district office construction, the professional development expenditures.
The board will discuss the possibility of requesting an increase in the district levy. The discussion will include the amount of increase and the timing of presenting the increase to the voters.
Other items on the agenda include an update on bus routes, setting the tuition rate for the 2021/22 school year, grant requests from the elementary schools, and an update on the COVID-19 response.
An executive session is scheduled to follow the regular meeting.
