The Missouri Highway Patrol reports one accident and one arrest in the area counties Monday.
The Accident was in Sullivan County, just before 6:00 am, in a parking lot of a business. The report states, a pedestrian, 42-year-old Angel Osorio of Milan was struck while walking across the parking lot. The vehicle that struck Osorio was driven by 53-year-old Moses Kumeh of Milan. Osorio was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
State Troopers in Linn County arrested an Illinois man at about 12:45 pm. 37-year-old Shaun Coonce was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and speeding. He was processed and released.
