A Chillicothe boy was flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital following an ATV accident in Purdin Sunday afternoon. State Troopers report the 12-year-old boy was driving the ATV on a race track on private property and struck a tire barrier. The ATV overturned and the boy was ejected, resulting in moderate injuries. He was wearing protective gear.
