A two-vehicle accident Monday evening near Braymer left a passenger in one of the vehicles with serious injuries. State Troopers report 37-year-old Ashlee Smith of Braymer was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of serious injuries following the accident at about 8:45 pm. According to the report, a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Jonathan Feil of Braymer was northbound on Catawba Drive and stopped at an intersection. He then pulled into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by 37-year-old Seth Smith of Braymer, resulting in the collision.
Neither driver was injured in the collision. All three were wearing safety belts.
