Chillicothe Police officers handled a total of 105 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include
10:31 am, Report of a suspicious acting person at Springhill Street and Monroe. Officers contacted the person that had been in an argument earlier and was calming down. No report.
1:15 pm, Officers out at a home in the 1200 block of Clay Street for a domestic disturbance. Parties separated and no arrest made.
1:15 pm, Officer assisted a person in looking for their dog near Oak Street and J.F. Kennedy Avenue. The dog was located on Broadway and returned to the owner.
1:36 pm, Officer responded to a report of shoplifting from a business in the1000 block of Graves Street. One person was arrested, cited and released.
5:47 pm, Officer responded to N. Washington and Second Street ifor a two-vehicle crash. According to the report, a southbound vehicle pulled from a private lot and went south on Washington as a westbound vehicle was about to complete crossing Washington on Second Street and collided. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
6:46 pm, a person surrendered to officers at the Police Department on a Livingston County warrant for stealing. Bond was posted and the person was released.
8:02 pm, officers responded to a young person having anxiety issues and possibly trying to injure themselves. The person’s mother was contacted and took the child for evaluation and treatment.
8:36 pm, Officers in the 1300 block of Jackson Street took a report of a stolen bicycle.
