Twenty-seven new cases of COVID-19 were added to the count in Livingston County on Wednesday. Health Center officials report nine of the cases are from the Baptist Home outbreak. That brings Livingston County’s cumulative total to 320.
While 27 were added to the list, the number of active cases declined. 30 were removed from isolation, leaving 78 active cases.
Recent cases added to the Livingston County total have included 27 from the Baptist Home, 11 from Fastlanes, and 5 from First Baptist Church.
Health Center officials continue to urge everyone to wear a mask in public and when traveling for more than 15 minutes with people at high risk or outside your household.
Stay home when you are sick and keep sick kids home from school.
Avoid gatherings of any size, but especially those where you can’t maintain 6 feet physical distance.
Wash your hands frequently.
Disinfect commonly used surfaces frequently.
And, if you are ill and get tested for COVID-19, please isolate yourself at home until test results are received.
