The Chillicothe Girls Softball team avenged an earlier season loss in a 10-3 win over Macon in the District Semi-Finals in Chillicothe.
The Lady Hornets scored one run in the second, three in the third, four in the fifth and one in the sixth and seventh innings.
Macon scored two in the bottom of the third and one in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Chillicothe had 13 hits in the game, led by Kirsten Dunn with a home run and a single, Kinlei Boley with two doubles, Sophia Luetticke with three singles, Mika Hibner with two singles, and one each for Hope Helton, Mollie Ellis, Bre Pithan and Halle Rucker.
Boley pitched the complete game, allowing three runs, two earned, off seven hits with 16 strike outs and no walks in the seven innings win.
Chillicothe will face Savannah for the district championship. Savannah beat top seed Kirksville 3-0. Savannah is 15-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of Chillicothe 10-0 in Savannah in the regular season.
The district championship at Danner Park is Saturday at 1:00pm.
