The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 116 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:
12:31 am, Officers out in the 1500 block of Jackson Street for a caller contemplating suicide by overdose of prescription medications. The person left the home before officers arrived. Officers were able to locate the person, who voluntarily submitted themselves for evaluation and medical treatment.
8:04 am, Several items including a cell phone, wallet and a debit card were recovered by Officers after being found at business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Items can be claimed at the PD.
12:07 pm. Officer at the PD took a report of a stolen license plate from 10 block of Calhoun Street.
1:25 pm, Officers made contact with a person in the 900 block of Webster Street that was wanted on a Probation Violation Warrant. The 27-year-old was processed held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
3:00 pm, Officers at the Probation and Parole office with a warrant for a 19-year-old for violation of conditions. The person was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
4:59 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Washington Street on a report of a stolen bicycle. A report was taken.
5:25 pm, Officers reported to Clay and Boehner Place about a juvenile custody issue. Information was taken for the report.
11:59 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near Trenton Road and McVey. They contacted the occupants and found the driver, who had been speeding, did not have a driver’s license and was underage in possession of cigarettes along with operating while under influence of drugs. A passenger in the vehicle was found in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. They were taken to the police department, processed, cited and released.
