Friday:
5:56 AM, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Walnut Street for a report of Trespassing. Officers arrived on the scene and found a male subject inside the business that he had already been told not to come back to. Officers arrested the male subject, transported him to the Police Department for processing, and cited him for Trespassing.
8:30 PM, Officers arrested a man at the police department who turned himself in on a warrant. He posted the required bond, and released with a new court date.
10:53 PM, Officers stopped an out of state motor vehicle for speeding on Highway 36 near Highway 65. Officers arrested the driver for driving while suspended and the driver was processed and released with citations.
Saturday:
2:41 AM, Officers stopped a vehicle stop near Jackson Street and Monroe Street for a stop sogn violation. The driver was found to be driving under the influence. The driver was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated, failure to yield at a stop intersection, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance and released with a court date.
7:53 AM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Webster Street for a woman beating on the front door and screaming. Officers contacted the woman and calmed the situation. She did not have any place to go and was assisted with getting into a Shelter.
3:15 PM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Webster Street for a report of a man sleeping in the basement of a house not belonging to him. The man was gone and the home was secured. Officers are attempting to identify the person.
6:57 PM, Officers responded to the 1300 block of Washington Street for a report of stealing. The investigation is ongoing, and a suspect has been identified.
Sunday:
9:51 AM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Webster Street for a report of Trespassing.
2:25 PM, Officers responded to the area of Country Club and Fairway Drive for a report of a suicidal subject who had jumped out of a moving vehicle. The person was not injured. They were taken into protective custody and later transported for treatment.
9:17 PM, Officers along with the Chillicothe Fire Department responded to the 900 block of Trenton Rd. for a reported house fire. Officers secured the scene when the Fire Department extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
