The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for Late October and Early November shows a few investigations and arrests.
Incident Reports:
October 18 LCSO began working a drug investigation that has resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and the identification of the suspect. Evidence is being submitted to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab pending formal identification and weight.
October 21 LCSO investigated an assault of a woman by a juvenile in rural Livingston County. Information was collected and a report was submitted to the juvenile officer.
October 24 morning LCSO responded to the southern part of Livingston County regarding vehicle theft and theft of a significant amount of tools from vehicles. Investigation continues.
October 27 LCSO assisted the public school with parent(s) that are not having their child properly attend school and/or remote learning. A report is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration on the parents.
Arrests:
Near the end of October, deputies made a traffic stop led to an investigation and arrest. The man was identified as 38-year-old Christopher Michael Vaughn, who was wanted on an out of state probation violation for an original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance. He has since been extradited.
November 2nd Deputies arrested 40-year-old Shannon Leigh Busse in the 1200 block of Third Street in Chillicothe on a warrant for alleged forgery.
