The Chillicothe Police Department report for Thursday includes 83 calls for service. Those calls include:
7:38 am, Officers responded to the 2600 block of Washington Street for an accident. The report states a passenger vehicle was turning northbound from a business when a truck was turning westbound into the same business. The passenger car struck the truck on the driver’s side. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were cleared from the roadway.
12:48 pm, Detectives took a report of alleged child abuse that occurred in the 400 block of Clay Street. The investigation continues.
3:42 pm, Officers out at home in the 400 block of Clay Street, reference possible child abuse. No report was taken at the time.
4:45 pm, Detectives took a report of harassment, domestic assault, and animal abuse that had taken place over a period of time in the 400 block of Samuel Street. This investigation is ongoing.
5:58 pm, Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident on US 36 just west of US 65. Officers found a driver was westbound on US 36 and lost control of the vehicle, drove off the left side of the roadway, striking a MODOT sign, rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels. The driver was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured.
