The Memory Tree, a holiday tradition in Downtown Chillicothe, will be lit on November 19th. MainStreet Director Pam Jarding says the Memory Tree has become very popular over the past few years.
The lighting of the tree includes the reading of the names of all of those memorialized with the ornaments. Jarding says they will make a decision soon on whether that will be done live with a group in Silvermoon Plaza or as a virtual ceremony.
The ornaments are still available for purchase.
Jarding says you can also stop in the Main Street Office, located on the second floor of the Chamber Building. She says they do ask that if you stop by the office, that you wear a mask.
The deadline for ornaments is Monday, November 16th.
